Black Panther Toys Have Been Found!
For weeks now, people have been asking for Black Panther merchandise and there has been very little to buy.
Stores everywhere were already completely out of merchandise in early March — just three weeks after the movie’s Feb. 16 release. Six-inch action figures began to sell out, and retailers began limiting sales of 12-inch models to five per customer, according to BMO Securities.
“Our in-store check have also shown a lot of empty pegs,” BMO analyst Gerrick Johnson wrote at the time.
A source close to “Black Panther” distributor Disney said there is “a second wave of product coming in the next few months” but didn’t give details.
However, there may be some hidden Wakandan treasures out there if you’re willing to go in a comic shop.
A College Park, Maryland comic book seller responded to news of the Black Panther toy shortage with pictures of a few must have items.
So, If you’re looking for Black Panther toys start at “Big Planet Comics: 7315 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD 20740” or check with whatever comic book shop is nearest to you.
They will most likely be sold out soon too.
